CREATIVE DIRECTOR nuwave AGENCY

Craig Spoth is the Creative Director at nuwave Agency. As a video editor, motion graphics artist, and music producer, Craig has worked with digital media for more than two decades. He has worked for local and national corporations and non-profits, creating documentaries, internal corporate communication, and ads. With nuwave’s former iteration (Sp!ke Advertising), Craig has worked on a variety of video projects for Advance Vermont, Vermont Adult Career & Technical Education Association, Vermont Electric Cooperative, WindESCo, and most recently, the comprehensive KnowOD overdose prevention and harm reduction messaging campaign for the Vermont Department of Health.

Craig earned an Associate’s degree in Sound Recording from Full Sail University, and went to work for 2much Media in Burlington, VT, participating in campaigns for value-added companies such as Ben & Jerry’s, Stonyfield Farm, Seventh Generation, and Green Mountain Coffee, opened his eyes to the ability for companies to do well by doing good.

Craig believes the common thread that binds everyone, in the ad space capacity and beyond, is the need to tell a story. Whether it’s a story of self, a story of others, a story of beliefs, or one  about a product, service, and/or brand, everyone wants to be heard and believed. Craig understands the value that honesty and integrity play in an effective, well-received story, and enjoys helping craft stories for nwA clients, with compassion, humor, and gravitas.
