Robin Mazumder

Environmental Neuroscientist nuwave

Robin Mazumder is an Environmental Neuroscientist from Victoria, British Columbia. He received his PhD, funded by the SSHRC Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Waterloo, where he used wearable technology and virtual reality to research the psychological impacts of urban design. Robin also recently completed his Yoga Teacher Training at Ma Yoga. He is signed with literary agency Cooke McDermid and is currently writing a book for the public, on the story behind his recently proposed concept, Experiential Equity, which intends to examine the intersection of design, society, equity, and well-being. Robin is a public speaker and has given more than 40 talks internationally. He was a 2014 Top 40 under 40 and won the 2018 University of Waterloo Community Impact Award.
